The Twitter and YouTube sites for US Central Command were hacked this morning by a group aligning itself with Isis (Islamic State).
The hackers said in a tweet, ‘American soldiers, we are coming, watch your back. Isis.’
The self-declared Cybercaliphate “is already here, we are in your PCs, in each military base,” the hackers wrote on the seized Twitter feed for Centcom, which oversees the US-led air war against the group in Iraq and Syria.

The Twitter feed’s profile picture was briefly changed to one with a black and white picture of a jihadist and the words “I love you Isis”.
A series of subsequent tweets appeared to include personnel files, including addresses for some generals, and internal military documents.
The Twitter account was disabled by CENTCOM about 45 minutes after the initial hacked post was made.
A senior defense official confirmed that the two accounts were compromised and said U.S. Central Command was taking appropriate measures to address the matter.
The official was not authorised to discuss the matter publicly so spoke on condition of anonymity.
